Located just north of SnapCrack’s new Miami Beach chiropractor location is the iconic Porsche Design Tower. Often called the “Porsche Piston,” this $560 million build has 132 luxury condos, each with a private two-car garage inside. Residents can bring their car up to their condo via a glass elevator and drive it straight into their garage. Those who live in the building can take advantage of the car concierge who will perform general maintenance, rotate the tires, and wash them.
Inspired by the sleek design of a Porsche, this skyscraper towers 641 feet above Sunny Isles Beach, with 60 stories. It’s the highest residential tower that sits on the oceanfront in the entire United States. It was built as a collaboration between Porsche Design and Dezer Development, the developers of Miami’s Trump buildings.
Residence features
The residences in the building range from 4800 square feet to over 10000 square feet in size; there are six different layouts to choose from with 3, 4, or 6 bedrooms, and some also include maid quarters. The majority of the units have at least a 2-car garage, and some have 4. The private elevators bring both the residents and their vehicles straight up to their home.
All condos that face towards the ocean have a 10’ by 15’ swimming pool outside on the terrace. Each terrace is 15 feet deep, making them the deepest terraces available in Miami, and all have outdoor kitchens. Units that are two stories high feature ceiling that are 24 feet high and all units come with fireplaces and Poggenpohl kitchens.
Building features and amenities
The building itself has loads of amenities on-site. The main lobby is 3-stories high, will a glass car elevator observatory in the middle. There is a fine-dining restaurant on the main lobby level that features views of the ocean with outdoor and indoor seating options. On the same level is a bar & lounge with TVs showing popular sporting matches and also offering ocean views.
The rooftop terrace has outdoor seating and sunbathing chairs, as well as two oversize plunge pools. There is also a second tanning deck on a lower level, which can be accessed by the Spa.
Entertainment
The Porsche Design Tower has many entertainment options. There is a games room with a ballroom on the 5th level. A second ballroom is available, which overlooks the ocean and has a catering kitchen and bar. You can also find a movie theater with surround sound, a popcorn bar, and stadium-style seating options. The building has its own virtual race simulator and virtual golf similar plus a billiards area with card tables.
Fitness and Spa
The Spa in the tower comes fully equipped with a hair salon, snow room, sauna, steam rooms, massage rooms, and showers. The Spa offers a variety of treatments, including manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages.
The fitness room features a range of different workout machines and even has a yoga room that overlooks the ocean.
